Medical Assistant - Portland, OR

CleanFleet is a national Third Party Administrator that manages drug-testing programs for companies. In addition, we operate two clinics within the Portland, OR area where companies can send their employees to get physicals and drug tests. Most of the companies we serve are in the trucking industry, where they employ drivers that drive vehicles weighing over 80,000 lbs. It is imperative that drugs do not impair these drivers. The Department of Transportation (DOT) mandates that the trucking industry drug tests its drivers and heavily regulates how companies run their programs. CleanFleet helps companies comply with these regulations.

Employment Time - Full Time, Non-Exempt

Location - North East Portland, Oregon

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Work in the front office taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and checking in patients as they enter the facility
  • Collect and prepare specimen samples in accordance with federal, state, & employer regulations and protocols
  • Ensure all specimens are shipped to the proper labs nightly
  • Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history prior to each appointment
  • Transmit medical cards and control and custody forms to clients, TPAs, MROs, and SLAs
  • Travel to customer’s place of business to collect specimens
  • Be on-call 1-2 nights per week to perform after-hours mobile collections
  • Assist in maintaining the clinical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed
  • Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
  • Assist in cleaning shared spaces and the waiting room as needed

  • Associate degree in a medical field (bachelor’s degree preferred)

Customer Relations Specialist  - Portland, OR

The position we are currently looking for is a Customer Relations Specialist. The Customer Relations Specialist builds trusted relationships with clients and manages their drug & alcohol programs. This position has a direct impact in saving lives and protecting assets by educating employers on the importance of a substance-free workplace.

Location: Clackamas, Oregon

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and auditors
  • Setup and arrange services for clients
  • Ensure clients are compliant with federal, state, and local laws
  • Process test results and changes to clients’ programs
  • Prepare reports
  • Manage clients’ outstanding balances
