OTA Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium offers many additional services beyond Consortium Membership. These services are available to all companies. See below the list of our additional drug & alcohol testing services.
A company's drug and alcohol policy should be fair and reasonable, clearly stated, fully explained and understood across the company, and compliant with local, state, and federal law in the areas the company has employees. Failure to do so may lead to monetary damages and statutory penalties. With marijuana legalization increasing rapidly, and the rise of opioid addiction, state and local laws are changing.
The policy also needs to be clear on what the consequences are if an employee refuses to test, is caught cheating a test, or if the results come back positive. Knowing these consequences can help deter the inappropriate use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
OTA Consortium can help you develop and review your company's drug and alcohol policies.
Protect your workforce, the workplace, the public, and your company with our Reasonable Suspicion Training. Our Online Reasonable Suspicion Training is recommended for your company’s workforce leaders to determine if and/or when an employee may be impaired and then know the necessary steps to take to protect your company and the employee as it relates to specific company drug and alcohol policy compliance and safety.
This class is REQUIRED for DOT = 2.5 hours
This online video training = $89.00 per person
If your driver had a positive drug test, they must be a part of a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) process with follow-up testing. We can help with the SAP follow-up schedule, established by the SAP, and testing notifications, if requested.
